Get It While It's Hot

I am not a huge, huge fan of Ryan Adams, although I do love a few of his songs.  One of my good friends turned me on to "Hey There Mrs. Lovely" recorded at Nashville's Exit/In a few years ago, and that remains one of my favorite songs that he's ever done, and I always wished I had the album version of it.  But there wasn't one.

Apparently, he recorded that song before his first album in a session called "The Destroyer Sessions", which was never released.  But, thanks to Salon pointing me in the right direction and the awesome wonder of the Internet, here is the link to the unreleased tracks from that session: http://www.tobeyoung.org/destroyer.php.

I will warn you that these songs are not as polished as his published albums and this version of "Hey There Mrs. Lovely" is not as good as the live version.  This is not my typical taste in music...it's really folksy and that's just generally not my style.  But if you're like me and are compelled to download albums when you have the opportunity, you should go get this before someone figures out that it is up, like they did the Fiona album.
