To the Rain I Say: Be Gone With You! (You are Spoiling an Otherwise Quite Wonderful Day)

Despite the fact that it is raining outside all day today as a prelude to more wintery weather for the weekend (finally), I am pretty sure that today is going to be an excellent day:

1- I woke up by myself BEFORE my alarm went off.  (I didn't actually get out of the bed, mind you, but this is a clear indication that I got enough rest last night.)

2- The aches in my muscles resulting from the legs and abs workout I did on Sunday has finally gone away and I can actually move again.

3-  I fried the most perfect over medium egg this morning for breakfast.  I should have taken a picture; perfection like this is just not repeatable.

4- My hair turned out fabulously today.  Of course, when I have to walk to class in the rain later today, it will look like crap.  And no, umbrellas don't help...humidity of any sort makes my hair flop.

All of that makes it okay that I have not studied at all for my French class tonight and that I haven't done a single sketch for art.  Cuz today is clearly a special day.
